Everyone needs a droid
Proxima is a team of droids for small teams, and it is what happens when you assemble our primitives into a product. Here is how it is put together, and what we learned building it.

Mission
Every serious agent system we have seen ends up needing the same things: somewhere to keep what it knows, somewhere to do its work, a way to reach the outside world without dumping the outside world into its context, a way to wait, and a way to talk to other agents. Most teams rebuild these from scratch, badly, under deadline.
Cradle Research builds those parts once, as primitives: small, open, swappable, and designed to be composed. Not a platform you move into. Components you pick up. Then we use them ourselves: Proxima, a team of droids for small teams, is assembled from exactly these parts. The goal is a world where an autonomous system is something a small team can put together in a week from pieces that already work.
What we build
Droids for your team. Build each one, wire it into the tools you already use, and let it handle the grunt work while you go do something awesome.
The open-source TypeScript stack for agent applications. An agent is more than a model with tools, so Glove ships the rest.
A simple background jobs framework for TypeScript. Define a signal, schema in, handler out, and run it on one process or a whole network.

Why Cradle Research builds the parts autonomous systems are made of, and how Glove and Station fit together.

Agents need a clock and a queue. Station is the background jobs framework we built so they could have one without a hosted control plane.
